A Reunion:
Last night (5 Sept 2026) Gigi attended Jay Rayner's book launch in Bristol, following Thursday's release of Nights Out in the Kitchen. It was a packed audience of 500 attendees and it was the first time Gigi and Jay had reunited since Jay visited Gigi's Swansea restaurant in June 2022. Jay has inscribed a message to the restaurant which says "To Gigi Gao's, The Beacon of Swansea" .
